Despite all of the capabilities and flexibilities inherent in vendor HRMS applications, there are times when a company requires custom development work. While a Company’s needs for additional reporting could be satisfied by one of the powerful report generators on the market today, there are times when custom programming may be the answer; for example, systems interfaces, systems integration, special processes and calculations.
HRTechTeam’s primary objective in any custom application development engagement is to determine the most cost-effective method for solving our client’s needs. In working with a vendor application, we endeavor to maintain the original design of the system for future maintainability. This may entail development within the application or development of an ancillary application. The decision --- always determined with the Customer --- is dependent upon the work to be performed, the design of the application, and the requirement for continued application vendor support.
