Position:
Sr. PeopleSoft HR Technical Specialist/Developer with 8.9

This person will work with team members and business partners to clearly identify and understand business requirements, implement appropriate PeopleSoft functionality, and utilize the PeopleSoft technical environment to deliver quality systems, reports and processes.

  • Job environment -
    Pharmaceutical company located near NY working with a team of 7 HR IS professionals in a shared service center.

  • Duration
    Minimum six month contract assignment, possible conversion to permanaet full time employment.

  • Responsibilities
    Researches and works closely with PeopleSoft end users to configure PeopleSoft modules to meet business needs and meet project timelines,Implements and maintains PeopleSoft applications and table maintenance within HR area, which includes HR , Payroll, Benefits.

    Analyzes PeopleSoft modules functionality and working with HR team members, identifies and suggests technical solutions to PeopleSoft environment
    Develops technical and test specifications.

  • Key technical requirements
    Extensive PeopleTools 8.x, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine and Oracle (or other relational database) experience.
    Experience with PS-Query and PeopleSoft reporting tools.
    Ability to create technical analysis/design documentation as required.

Additional skills desired:

  • Experience with two or more of the following modules is highly desirable: Core PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, PeopleSoft Time & Labor , PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft Recruiting, PeopleSoft's Global Payroll a huge plus
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
